Jesup’s fourth week of cross country competition brought them to the Cascade Invitational. The varsity girls stood as the #5-ranked team in 2A and the boys as #17.
On Sept. 16, #12-ranked Nolan Evans came away with a first-place finish at 17:29.6. The varsity team took eighth out of 12 teams.
#12-ranked Mackenzie Wilson took second at the meet with a time of 20:39.6, followed by #10-ranked Amanda Treptow in third at 20:44.5. #17-ranked Clare Wright finished sixth at 21:17.8. The J-Hawks finished second out of eight teams.
The middle school boys finished second out of seven teams. The team had three top ten finishers: Kaden Lange (fourth), Vincent O’Connor (seventh), and Will Nesbit (eighth). The girls took fourth out of eight teams. Jordyn Bergman finished third.
