J-Hawks fall to MFL Mar-Mac Bulldogs
The Jesup J-Hawks’ second home game of the season was another difficult matchup. The 1-1 J-Hawks faced off against the undefeated Bulldogs on Sept. 13, falling 35-6 in the non-district game.

MFL Mar-Mac earned the first points of the game with a two-point conversion towards the end of the first quarter. Before closing out halftime, the Bulldogs scored two touchdowns and completed another two-point conversion to bring the game score to 16-0.

It wasn’t until the fourth quarter that Jesup was able to get points on the board. Jase Pilcher completed a 5-yard pass to Brady Dahl. The touchdown was Dahl’s first of the season.

Jesup had 29 tackles and 21 tackle assists. Brodie Kresser led the team defensively with 15 solo tackles and five assisted. Kresser also had the most receiving yards of the night with 77. Jerret Delegardelle led the team in rushing with 64 yards.
