The Jesup Girl Scouts competed on Jan. 7 in the Qualifier for Lego League Competition in Kearney, NE. Although they did not make the next round, the girls can’t wait to compete again, and learned a lot. Spring is on its way – and so is the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days! Buchanan Co. residents have until Feb. 20 to place their orders for daffodils. Make a minimum $10 donation to the American Cancer Society to receive a bunch of 10 daffodils. This year also features Shar N. Hope, a special Boyds™ Bear designed exclusively for the American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days Bear and a Bunch™ that can be ordered for a donation of $25.
